THAMBUTTU
Ingredients:
6 - ripe bananas
6 tsp - thambuttu powder
6 tsp - sugar
2 tsp - roasted seasame seeds
3 to 4 tsp - honey (optional)
4 tbsp - coconut grated
pure ghee

For the Thambuttu Powder:
1 kg - boiled rice
a few - cardamoms
1 tsp - fenugreek
salt to taste

Method
For the powder:
For the powder:
- Sprinkle some water on the rice.
- Roast on a tava till it is dark brown and crisp
- Roast fenugreek and cardamoms.
- Powder into very fine powder along with salt.
- Store in an air tight container.
For Thambuttu:
- Peel and mash bananas.
- Add sugar, honey and thambuttu powder.
- Knead into fairly thick but soft dough.
- Make a depression in the centre.
- Pour ghee and serve individually.
